Sports Complex
The MIET sports complex includes a 25-meter-long swimming pool, a hall for indoor sports, a football pitch, tennis courts, an aerobics room and a workout room.
Sport is an integral part of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year curriculum. Students can also take up various sports activities in their free time. The options include soccer, basketball, volleyball, mountain climbing, swimming, tennis, aerobics, aqua-aerobics, shaping, yoga.
MIET karate club is well-know outside Russia. It is led by Alexander Chichvarin, one of the world's youngest 4th Dans, President of Russian Karatenomichi Federation, MIET graduate. Among our karate club members are repeated Champions of Russia and medalists of World Championships.
Most MIET sport teams successfully take part in Moscow university competitions.
MIET supports and encourages students involved in sports in their off-study time and provides all the necessary conditions for sporting activities, since good health is essential for any good professional.
